Blenheim Palace - World Heritage Site. (1 mile)

The spectacular palace is set in 2100 acres of breath taking grounds designed by 'Capability' Brown and is the home of the Duke and Duchess of Marlborough. The Bladon Gate entrance to Blenheim Park is just around the corner by the White House Pub, for a pleasant easy walk across the grounds of Blenheim to the lakes, palace and into Woodstock. Alternatively it is a 5 minute drive to the main palace gates in Woodstock

Sir Winston Churchill was born at the palace on 30th November 1874 and was buried in the small church of St Martin which is in on the opposite side of the road a 2 minute walk away from Park house bed and breakfast Woodstock.
